In daily clinical practice, they were hearing the same questions from patients,
1. “What natural toothpaste actually leaves you feeling refreshed?”
2. “I don’t want to use fluoride for myself or my kids, what toothpaste would you recommend?”
3. “What’s Xylitol?.... and how do you pronounce this word?!”
They knew there was a need in the community, so they started research & development in 2020 and formulated a fluoride-free toothpaste powered with Organic AVOcado Oil and non-GMO Xylitol (zai-luh-taal) for healthy gums, natural cavity protection, brighter teeth and long-lasting freshness.
Founders, Amy & Jessica, are Registered Dental Hygienists in British Columbia, Canada. They launched avo's toothpaste in june 2023.
