AVO’s brush heads are made of PLA, which is a biodegradable material made from renewable resources. The soft bristles are derived from castor beans, making them a natural alternative that will leave no trace compared to the standard nylon bristles in plastic toothbrushes. 

Each brush head created is unique, with certain markings, or appearance differences. This DOES NOT compromise the brush head integrity. It’s just natural, and not “perfect” plastic. 

AVO’s packaging and toothpaste tubes and lids are also 100% recyclable, so there may be slight appearance differences or markings. This DOES NOT compromise the product in any way, it’s just NOT plastic.

Caution: Brush with room temperature or cold water

Our brush heads are made of PLA, which is a biodegradable material made from renewable resources. Certain elements will begin the decomposition process; such as heat. Using HOT water may distort the shape of the brush head, or the bristle attachment. 

Toothpaste tint: colour changes that occur after opening.

Due to AVO’s toothpaste being 100% natural, no synthetics or colour correctors were added in formulation. 

The organic compound, Vanillin, comes from the natural vanilla bean flavour in AVO’s toothpaste. Vanillin, once exposed to oxygen, heat or light, darkens in colour, giving AVO’s toothpaste a natural tinted appearance. This is completely safe and harmless.
